Alerts
Alerts allow you to define when you, the organization, receive notifications when an inspection throws a warning or a failure. Depending on your notification settings, these alerts can be sent via email or SMS. You can define which alerts get sent to you and the warning and failure thresholds of when alerts are sent to you.
Create an Alert
You can create an alert by clicking New Alert on the alerts page. There are three different components of the alerts: the name, thresholds, and tests.
Thresholds

The thresholds of the warnings and failures are the amount of times an alert needs to be triggered before sending out a notification to the assigned user. If a test within the alert is triggered, it's counted as a warning, and if an image fails the inspection, it's counted as a failure.
If you want all warnings and failures to trigger a notification, you can set the failure and warning thresholds to 1.
Tests
Tests are individual checks that are performed as long as they are enabled. The available tests include:
- Date/Time: Verifies the capture date and capture time of the image.
- Distance from Address: Verifies the distance from the address is within an expected range, typically 100 meters.
- General Content Analysis: Verifies the image content is accurate.
- VIN Content Analysis: Verifies the VIN is accurate if there is a list item that expects a VIN value
- License Plate Content Analysis: Verifies the license plate is accurate if there is a list item that expects a license plate value.
- Odometer Content Analysis: Verifies the odometer is within an expected range, and if it's not, a warning is returned. This is dependent on having a list item that expects an odometer range.
You can enable and disable these tests to your liking. It's important to note that if your thresholds are too high, you may not be notified if the enabled tests fail.

Editing an Alerts
Editing an alert is the same as the setup for an alert. Alerts can be changed at any time even when they are being used for an active inspection.
Alerts are updated as soon as you change them, so ensure you have your desired settings applied before leaving the edit drawer.
